Halloween this year was not just celebrated by the kids. Square One Older Adult Centre was the location for Scarioke, a fun-filled afternoon of karaoke and costumes organized and coordinated by Kerri Sharp and Sara Gregorash from Chartwell and Laura Surman from Square One Older Adult Centre. This gave the residents from Chartwell seniors' housing and volunteers from the Square One Older Adult Centre a chance to dress up in the most creative costumes and sing to their hearts content. Snacks, such as popcorn, black forest cake, pumpkin pie and a variety of munchies and soft drinks were provided. Along with prizes for the best costume and best karaoke performance, there was a 50/50 raffle and door prizes given making sure everyone left with a treat. â€œTrick or Treat!â€
