New Year's Eve Party
Once again, Square One Older Adult Centre (SQ1OAC) hosted a fabulous and exhilarating party. It was definitely the place to be on New Year's Eve 2008. It was a place where familiar faces came together to say au revoir to 2008 and to welcome 2009 with style. The afternoon was filled with laughter, warm smiles, great food, amazing people and, of course, what would a party at SQ1OAC be without line dancing?!
Line dancing and ballroom dancing were at their best, led by the talented and very enthusiastic Merylin. Harmonic wine, scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and delightful desserts were served. Prior to the official SQ1OAC New Year’s countdown, hats and confetti party favours were handed out. As the countdown commenced, the anticipation and excitement was electrifying. At the final count, an explosion of happiness and cheering abundantly filled SQ1OAC. Hugs and kisses, handshakes and smiles were exchanged amongst all. Happy 2009!
