With today’s girlicious routines and music videos, more and more women are interested in dancing not only for fitness, but for self-esteem and flirty girl confidence. Thankfully, Laura Furtado has created an empire of dance classes and workshops across the city to help everyday women unleash this diva girl persona. Using stages, chairs, feather boas, and contemporary music, students are exposed to dancer-conditioning as well as a sexy choreographed routine. In particular, on February 8, 2009, Laura held a special class in preparation for Valentine’s Day, teaching a group of energetic women a dance for their special sweethearts. Exposed to dance for 22 years, this young dancer, teacher and entrepreneur is well known in the industry and continues to grow with dancing trends and creative ideas.
