2008 November > Phoenix Ball 2008 The Mississauga Board of Chinese Professionals & Businesses, also known as "CPB", hosted its annual Phoenix Ball on Saturday, October 4, 2008. The Living Arts Centre was filled with volunteers and glamorous guests who enjoyed the scenic atmosphere complete with live stage performances and a silent auction. The event seems to get bigger and bigger every year, in turn bringing more donations and funds raised for the community. CPB organized a sophisticated event and, as a result, the bridge between East and West is strengthened. CPB Chair, Audrey, and Phoenix Ball Chair, Amy, did an incredible job bringing the Gala’s 10th Anniversary to life. In the past ten years, the CPB foundation has contributed over $1,000,000 to the community, thanks to charitable organizations and their supporters.
