2008 November > Feeling Great at Any Age Amica at Square One was buzzing with people ready for a fun and informative afternoon on overall wellness. The primary focus of this inspirational and entertaining showcase were the three wellness principles, "Mind, Body and Spirit". The presentations covered a variety of issues, products and services geared toward seniors. Residents were given the opportunity to visit booths, set up by vendors, where they could make purchases. All exhibitors had donated to "Our Helping Hands" - a national charity for needy seniors. The entire residence was elegantly decorated for the occasion, with live piano tunes being played in the background. Refreshments included scrumptious treats such as fresh fruit, pastries and juice, all beautifully laid out among exquisite centrepieces. Overall, it was a great atmosphere and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
