2008 November > Pizza Pizza's Cheese for Charity

Pizza Pizza's newest fundraiser, called "Slices for Smiles" is a project that supports charities and organizations aiding children by providing them with schooling, health care, nourishment and general support. To officially kick off this movement, all participating Pizza Pizza restaurants across Ontario held a "Cheese for Charity" day. A portion of proceeds from the discounted $1.75 cheese slices and the $5 medium cheese and pepperoni pizzas was donated to the Children’s Miracle Network, in support of children’s hospitals across Ontario and Quebec. The charity will benefit children’s hospitals in surrounding areas, such as the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, London Health Science Center, McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton and many more. Lots of people visited Pizza Pizza locations across Mississauga in support of the event to help make it a great success!
