2008 November > Historical Walking Tours The final tour of the year for the Streetsville Historical Walk was on Sunday October 19, 2008. The weather couldn’t have been better. With not a cloud in the sky, the sun brightly shining down on all the unique and charming heritage buildings, the tour began at the Streetsville Florist at 265 Queen St. S. Participants walked north on that street, staying on the east side of the street then turned around at Trinity Anglican Church, 69 Queen St. S., crossing over to return to the Streetsville Florist walking on the west side of the street. Kay Matthews was not only the leader of this tour group but a fountain of incredibly fascinating and informative facts about this collection of historical buildings in this quaint village in the city.
