2008 November > Open House & Oktoberfest Celebration You couldn't miss where the Oktoberfest Celebration was being held on Saturday. Heritage Glen Community for Seniors held their annual Oktoberfest celebration and tons of people came out to have a great afternoon. There was a barbecue going on outside with delicious burgers and sausages for everyone to enjoy. Inside, the accordian, saxophone, clarinet and voices of the Oskarkay Oktoberfest Duo provided the music and typical German songs. The duo was dressed up in lederhosen and their costumes were really great! The residents and community thoroughly enjoyed the fun-filled afternoon. Many families came to visit and see what the event was all about. It was a beautiful Fall day to celebrate Oktoberfest and enjoy great company and delicious German food.
