2008 November > Olympians visit Edenwood School Children at Edenwood Middle School had some great visitors recently. Students welcomed four proud Olympians who had come into their school to talk to them. Corey Robmission, Glynn Loftin, Brent Langbakk and Sally Thomas came to help the students learn how they can get through everything. The four Olympians are great examples of people who have faced challenges as they have all struggled with a disability throughout their lives. Yet, each has made it to the Special Olympics and have made Canada proud. The Olympians helped show the students to set their goals high and never lose sight of what they want. Although Edenwood was the host, it was a multi-school event that welcomed Lisgar Middle School, Hazel McCallion and Dolphin Senior Public School. All the students truly enjoyed the event and were grateful for the Olympians for having come all the way to their community to help them learn more about how they should set their goals.
