Miriam, Rachel, Theresa and Sarah giving a donation to Special Constable Michael

Peel Regional Police 11 Division's Community Liason Committee is holding a Cram-a-Cruiser Food Drive at Loblaws. All food and money donations are being collected for Eden Food Bank and Deacon's Cup Board. In addition to filling one cruiser with food, they have 3 extra vans full of food donated by the community as well as $1,000, all of which is going to the charities. People like Constable Chad Wehby and the officers at 11 Division who volunteer their time to help, give hope to families who are in need. Volunteers from the local church and 20 high school students were there to help support the cause. The event happens four times a year, at the end of each food drive. 2 1/2 tons of food will have been collected for the charities.
