Carassauga
Mississauga proudly hosts one of Ontario’s largest multi-cultural festivals, the Carassauga Festival of Cultures, now celebrating its 24th anniversary. Carassauga has been recognized, by Festival and Events in Ontario, as being in the Top 100 events and Carassauga certainly lives up to this high standard. Enjoying everyone’s culture and learning a little more is truly what Carassauga is about. Its goal, over the three days it runs, is to have guests truly get a sense of the world around us. Through the various pavilions, different cultures are sampled through their food, music, art, dance, fashion, history, games and vendors. Carassuaga prides itself in its ability to promote understanding of, respect for, and co-operation between Canadians no matter what the heritage.
