Mississauga Parent-Child Resource Centres' 25th Anniversary Celebration
To celebrate 25 years in the Mississauga community, the Mississauga Parent-Child Resource Centres (MPCRC) provided a free outdoor event for families with children 0-6 years of age. Held on Saturday, September 26, the event included a BBQ, face painting, bubbles, air play, live band and more. Over 700 tickets for the afternoon event had been distributed to families in the community. With more than 11 centres in the Mississauga area, the MPCRC provides structured programs for parents with children from birth to 6 years of age. Each year, there are thousands of visits to the MPCRC and, after 25 years of serving the Mississauga community, the free event was a way for the MPCRC to give back.
