Burning Bright for Breast Cancer

On Sunday October 25th, the Mississauga Synchronized Swimming Association participated in a large event endorsed by Synchro Ontario (the governing body for the sport of Synchro in Ontario) called "Burning Bright for Breast Cancer", a fundraiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The swim was a relay event where the girls had to swim back and forth carrying a fake torch to symbolize remembrance for those who have been affected by the disease. Over 100 swimmers took part in the event which took place at two different pools in Mississauga. The donations and pledges received proved The Burning Bright for Breast Cancer fundraiser a big success. Let's all give the participants from the Mississauga Synchronized Swimming Association a big round of applause for their efforts to “keep the flame alive” in the fight against breast cancer.
