Crooning for Sunrise Residents
The seniors at the Sunrise Senior Living residence on Erin Mills Parkway sure did have a treat on their hands on Sunday, January 24th, as Jazz crooner Martin Chan took over the Sunrise residents' lounge room and delighted residents to the sounds of Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. It was an intimate gathering for Chan and about 10 residents. The musical performance was impressive and lasted close to 50 minutes. Various sounds from the 1930’s and 1940’s were also performed and, over in the café, tea and coffee were available. The show started just a little after 3pm and, judging by the smiles on the residents' faces, everyone had a great time.
