Rising from the Rubble-RDTH Fall Tour 2011

The Resurrection Dance Theatre of Haiti returned to Mississauga and showcased the “Rising from the Rubble” fall tour, which included traditional Haitian drumming, dancing and narrative. The special performance was held at St. Joseph Secondary School in Mississauga, on October 25th, with special guest and Canadian author, Peter Eyvindson, helping to celebrate how our local donations have helped to support the rebuilding efforts in post-earthquake Haiti. The show captivated audiences as they followed the movement of the group on stage and listened to the pounding of the drums. All proceeds were donated to Broken Wings Mission Inc. - a Canadian non-profit organization supporting the St. Joseph Family in Haiti and also to Wings of Hope in Fermathe, Haiti.
