Burning Bright for Breast Cancer Fundraiser
On Sunday, October 30th, the Mississauga Synchronized Swimming Association took part in the 8th Annual “Burning Bright for Breast Cancer” event in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation at Erin Meadows Pool. Families and friends came by to support the cause and the recreational and competitive swimmers in the MSSA as they participated in a 45-minute relay while keeping a torch lit. The torch symbolized their commitment to ‘keep the flame alive’ for a future without breast cancer. The event also took place in synchronized swimming clubs across Ontario to raise funds and awareness for the important cause. At the end of the event, the group posed for photo-ops while holding up the breast cancer symbol made out of foam. Visit www.mssa.ca and www.cbcf.org/ontario
