French Book Launch

The French Immersion students at Settler’s Green Public School, located at 5800 Montevideo Rd. in Mississauga, launched their poetry French book to friends and family on November 3rd. The book is all about certain character traits such as honesty, respect, co-operation and kindness. They have been working hard all year with the help of their teachers and had the book published by Kids for Kids Publishing. Fifteen kids auditioned to read in front of the audience and were chosen to read some of the short poems from the book, which has 154 wonderful poems. Cake and refreshments were served after the presentation. The school also donated one of the books to the Mississauga Public Library with another going into the National Library of Canada.
