Everyone was dressed in their best attire at the 6th annual Forget Me Not Gala charity event, held at the Mississauga Grand Banquet and Convention Centre in Mississauga on November 4th. The Vegas /Monte Carlo style themed gala was hosted by Rob Faulds, from Sportsnet, in support of the programs and services of Alzheimer Society Peel. Attended by various Mississauga politicians, it included a four-course dinner, door prizes and a fantastic silent auction that included some really good stuff such as hockey tickets, tablets and Coach purses. The entertainment for the evening consisted of casino tables, provided by an entertainment company, for people to play on. Alzheimer Society Peel will be holding an indoor walk on January 29th, 2012 - a National event called Walk for Memories, at the Sheridan Centre, which will be lots of fun for all ages.
